You can watch David Faber's interview with Arm CEO Rene Haas and SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son live on CNBC Pro. But SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son, who made a fortune through Chinese juggernaut Alibaba , said SoftBank had reduced its "exposure in China" by a significant amount. Neither Arm nor SoftBank, which acquired Arm for $32 billion in 2016, directly control their China subsidiaries. Arm now only directly owns around 5% of Arm China, but the group still accounts for nearly a quarter of Arm's fiscal 2023 revenue, according to pre-offering filings. Son was focused on SoftBank's stake in Alibaba, which SoftBank has been reducing steadily over the last few years.

In a client note, Faber said he likes US value and international value stocks. A few exchange-traded funds that offer exposure to value stocks include the Vanguard Value ETF (VTV), the iShares Russell Mid-Cap Value ETF (IWS), and the Dimensional US Marketwide Value ETF (DFUV). But an arguably better opportunity lies outside of the US stock market in international value stocks, he said. But the discrepancy, like in the US, between international value stocks and all other international stocks is also at "historically wide levels," Faber said. Cambria FundsInvestors can gain exposure to international value stocks through funds like the iShares MSCI EAFE Value ETF (EFV), the Avantis International Large Cap Value ETF (AVIV), and the Dimensional International Value ETF (DFIV).

Shares of Warner Music Group could jump more than 20% from current levels, according to Atlantic Equities. Q4 showed an acceleration in streaming revenue growth as growth in emerging streaming offset cyclical declines in advertising streaming," Faber wrote in a note Monday. Atlantic expects that Warner Music Group will capitalize on the growing music streaming market around the world. WMG is clearly working hard to ensure it participates in global streaming growth," Faber wrote. Shares of Warner Music Group are off by more than 22% this year, underperforming the S & P 500's near 19% decline.
Disney's board reached out to Bob Iger on Friday, without any other serious candidates in mind to replace Bob Chapek as CEO, CNBC's David Faber reported Monday, citing sources. The board's outreach to Iger and discussion to replace Chapek came after surging concerns crested following Disney's most recent quarterly earnings report, according to Faber's sources. While some internal candidates were identified that might be able to take the job over time, the board didn't want to put someone new in that position given all various pressures on the company, Faber reported. On Sunday, Disney said it would replace Chapek with Iger as chief executive, effective immediately. Disney reported fiscal fourth-quarter earnings earlier this month, disappointing on profit and certain key revenue segments.
